What is Global Church Movements?
A healthy church is a group of followers of Jesus committed to loving God and one another, engaged in helping to fulfill the Great Commission, and impacting their communities and relational networks with the gospel.
Global Church Movements seeks to inspire and equip Christians to live with biblical purpose and obedience to the Lord. We are privileged to partner with believers around the world — pastors, networks and denominations — to develop leaders who fulfill the responsibility Christ entrusted to His disciples: to build the Church and equip God’s people to spread the gospel.
Why Do Churches Matter?
- Jesus predicted, “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations” (Matthew 24:14, NIV). One way we will know if the gospel has reached every nation is by planting a healthy church for every 1,000 people.
- The need is great. For three billion people, there is no church, no believer, and no way to hear about Jesus.
- Without a local church, communities in many parts of the world lack the compassionate care and life-changing impact of believers in action.
How Global Church Movements Can Help You
MC2, or Multiplying Churches and Communities, is a training resource developed to serve as a pathway for spiritual multiplication around the world. The training is: Biblical – learn to build movements by studying and applying Scripture. Relational – focused on reaching out to your networks of relationships. Transferable – easy to pass on what you are learning to others.
