Student-Led Movements

Equipping high school and university students to share Christ, disciple their peers and launch spiritual movements that continue to multiply beyond graduation.

What is Student-Led Movements?

Campus Crusade for Christ was founded in 1951 on the UCLA campus by Bill Bright, with the rallying cry, “Win the campus today, win the world tomorrow.”

This is not just a premise; it is a fact. In reaching students, we ignite a multiplying movement that transforms lives and societies with the power of the gospel for decades to come. Student-Led Movements is a bold, strategic group of people intentionally reaching, equipping and sending the most globally connected generation in history.

We are called “Student-Led” because our heart is to raise leaders by equipping students to lead spiritual movements on their campuses — students reaching students with the gospel.

Why Does Reaching Students Matter?

  • The university and high school campus are strategic mission fields for shaping the future leaders of every nation. Students are searching for deep purpose and lasting significance for their lives. Imagine what could happen if they found the answer to these questions, not in what they study, or in the career they choose, but in knowing and living for Jesus.
  • Students will be tomorrow’s business owners, executives, teachers, professors, government officials, doctors, lawyers, judges, pastors and missionaries. By building student leaders today, we are equipping the next generation of leaders who will continue to make an impact for Christ in every sector of society.
